The Ritners

We met in Australia while working at the same YWAM location in 2005, and married in June 2007. Our hearts beat for young adults and discipleship and we believe we will be involved in missions and ministry for the years to come.

Josiah, from North Carolina, began his journey with YWAM in 2003 straight out of high school. He loves discipleship and enabling young people into missions. He knows we all are passionate about something, so helping individuals realize their full potential in God, suggesting avenues of opportunity in missions and seeing young adults engage with the Holy Spirit is what really excites Josiah.

Crissa, from Oklahoma, began her journey with YWAM in 2004. She loves discipleship as well and ultimately desires to become a teacher. Teenagers and young adults are faced with mixed messages from society of what success and freedom is, and as a young adult it is often easier to see the negative instead of the positive traits. She excels in encouraging young people about their God given abilities and character and loves seeing individuals walk in Christ's freedom.

No matter where we are, we both desperately want to be in the middle of God's plan to the fullest. God told Moses to "go and free my people" and we believe that is the call for this generation. It's a call to bring hope and love to the enslaved, a call we want to be part of.
